The Algerian American scientists association in collaboration with the Algerian Consulate in NYC is inviting students to participate in the 2018 Youm El-Ilm science fair competition.
The event will be held on Saturday April 21st – at 1:00 pm for students and 4:00 pm for parents and guests.
Location: United Nations International School, 24-50 FDR drive, New York, 10010
We will have good food, excellent posters and presentations from students and lots of fun.
Please register on/or before April 16th (we need to ensure enough boards are available)
Community service hours will be credited to those who participate in this event. Please make sure you bring any form to be signed or share the information to ensure we give you credit.
Students with science, art, poetry or music projects can participate.
Participants can also simply submit a school project they have done in the past. You can reuse your science fair poster for example.

There will be two levels for the competition.
- First level (high school and college students):
First place = $500
Second place = $250
Third place = $100
- Second level (pre-high school students)
First place = $200
Second place = $100
Third place = $50
